Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2, 2026

By downloading TideSort you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We know that sentence is the legal equivalent of a fire exit sign. It still counts.

License

TideSort is licensed to you, not sold. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies, together with these terms.

No bundled channels

TideSort does not include TV channels, movies, or a provider. You add your own playlists. Only use streams you are entitled to access. We do not sell, host, or recommend IPTV. No add-on shop, no extra packs. We also do not pretend a playlist manager is a television network.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the playlists and streams you add. Do not use TideSort to access content you do not have the right to watch. If a stream is a mess, that mess belongs to the server you pasted in — not to us, and not to Apple.

Trial and unlock

TideSort is free to download. You get 7 days of full access. After that, continued use requires the one-time In-App Purchase “TideSort”, priced in the App Store for your country (typically €14.99). The purchase unlocks iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Family Sharing applies to the unlock only. Restore purchases at any time. The trial is not a channel pack with an expiry date. It is a week to see if you like sorting.

Test stream

The optional Apple HLS test stream is a public playback example from Apple. It is not live TV and not a channel pack. It will not save your Saturday. It will tell you the player works.

Disclaimer

TideSort is provided as is. Playlists, servers, and streams can fail. We do not warrant a 3am kickoff that refuses to buffer, a host that renamed every channel overnight, or a remote that has slipped between the cushions.
