TideSort

Sort. Fast. Nothing extra. Your playlist has four thousand rows. You watch twelve. We are here for the twelve. We did not bring an add-on shop for the rest.

The dump

Hide the noise

Duplicate countries, adult categories that arrived uninvited, movies mixed into live. Hide a country, a category, or a single channel. Show only NL if that is the whole point.

The rest can wait in the basement. They will still be there if you miss them. You will not.

Favorites you actually pick

Star the twelve you watch. A country tag will never auto-fill this list for you. That would be helpful in the way a smoke alarm that also orders pizza is helpful.

If everything is a favorite, nothing is. We refuse to participate.

Order that survives refresh

Drag the lineup into the order your thumb already knows. Next time the playlist updates, the pins stay. You do not re-sort 4,000 rows because someone renamed “NL: NPO 1” to “NL NPO1”.

The remote

Opens before the network

First paint comes from cache. The catalog can refresh in the background once you can already scroll. Apple TV has little RAM and no patience.

If the remote does not work, we failed. Everything else is a feature request.

Now/next, not a TV guide from 2009

Guide data loads for rows you can see, after the lineup is on screen. No seven-day grid. No crawling the entire library so a spinner can feel employed.

Nothing extra

No skins. No add-on shop. No forty extra packs.

System UI. Playlists live in your iCloud, not a TideSort cloud we would then have to pretend is a product. One purchase unlocks iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Family Sharing shares the unlock, not someone else’s lineup.

Came from IPTVX? The lineup is the product. We left the second store at the door.

No channels in the box. TideSort does not include TV, movies, or a provider. You paste an Xtream or M3U you already have. If you wanted skins and add-on packs, that is two doors down, and they have a much larger marketing budget.

Help

Support

The remote ate a channel, App Review has a question, or your M3U looks like a ransom note.

Privacy

No TideSort account. No ads. Playlists stay in your iCloud, next to the photos of the remote you can never find.
